FTCH DRAKESHEAD CASEY {GHILLIE}
FTCH Drakeshead Casey, pet name Ghillie is the foundation bitch of Gunnerspeg Labradors, she was bred by Simon's Aunt & Uncle, John & Sandra Halstead of Drakeshead Labradors.
She has been a fantastic dog for the Kennels, being the mother of FTCH Gunnerspeg Apollo.
Three of her first litter have already won Field Trials before they were 3 years old.
Ghillie has had over 20 Field Trial Awards and she has won 4 open working tests.
She has Qualified for the IGL championships three times, the first time was in 2019 by being awarded 2nd in three separate 2 day open stakes and again in 2021 by winning the 3T's 2 day open stake.
This year she won her first trial of the season, The Three Ridings Labrador Club 2 day stake at Emblehope, qualifying her for the 2023 championship and making her into a Field Trial Champion
She currently has 2 B Qualification's for the 2023 Championship after having being awarded 2nd in the West Midland Field Trials Society 2 day open stake at Steen in Late January 2023 and 2nd in The Golden Retriever Club of Northumbria's 2 day open stake at Bellingham on the 2nd & 3rd October.
Her hips are 0/0 and elbows are 0/0 with a current 2023 clear eye certificate.
GUNNERSPEG ASTRID {MIST}
Mist is a lovely light yellow bitch, the daughter of FTCH Drakeshead Casey and the Sister of FTCH Gunnerspeg Apollo.
She is quite soft in her nature but is quite plucky in character.
She took a little more patience in training whilst Simon worked out what made her tick, but when she understood what was needed she has excelled in her field, she was awarded a Certificate of Merit in her first trial against a very good field of dogs and won her third trial, the West Midland Field Trial Society Novice Stake.
Her Hips are 2/3 Elbows 0/0 and a current clear eye test dated February 2023
GUNNERSPEG GYPSY
Gypsy is a black Daughter of FTCH Drakeshead Casey x FTCH Brocklebank Boorbon of Ravencoat. She is only 6 months old , quite punchy like her mother, we are looking forward to watching her training progress
